Overview
The Board of Port Erin Commissioners is seeking to update its General Byelaws 2018. With both the growth and changes within Port Erin and a number of repeatedly highlighted issues, the Board would like to update the General Byelaws to simplify them in certain areas, remove redundant byelaws and also add additional byelaws, for example moveable dwellings, feeding of animals & birds and artificial light.
Why we are consulting
The consultation will help the Board understand views from members of the public on the proposals for new General Byelaws and the predicted impact of these revised byelaws on residents and visitors to Port Erin. A copy of the current and proposed General Byelaws are available via the links below.
