MESSAGE
TO PORT ERIN COMMISSIONERS PUBLIC SECTOR HOUSING TENANTS
We
know many of you will be concerned about the impact of the coronavirus
pandemic.
Our
priority is to do everything we can to keep all tenants and colleagues safe and
to keep providing a good service for you.
If
you or a member of your family are self-isolating, please contact the office on
01624 832298 or via housing@porterin.gov.im to inform us.
Please note that non-emergency repairs are unlikely to be
undertaken at this time. Working with you, we will agree appropriate timescales
for repairs or home visits on a priority basis. For those tenants currently
awaiting a boiler replacement, our contractor has COVID-19 plans in place. You
will still be contacted by the contractor to confirm a date for your upgrade,
however, if you are self-isolating or have concerns, a rescheduled date can be
arranged.
In the event you are unable to pay your rent as a result of the
coronavirus pandemic, it is important to notify the office as soon as possible
and we will work with you to avoid formal action where COVID-19 is a factor.
