PORT ERIN COMMISSIONERS

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985

Notice is hereby given that Port Erin Commissioners have made an application to the Department of Infrastructure, under Section 51 of the Local Government Act 1985, to borrow a sum not exceeding £875,365 (eight hundred and seventy five thousand three hundred and sixty five pounds), repayable within a period of 60 years, to defray the cost of a new workshop and improvements to the car parking and lighting at Breagle Glen, Port Erin. Monies will be borrowed through HSBC under the Local Authority Borrowing Agreement.

The petition will be considered by the Department of Infrastructure, Sea Terminal Building, Douglas, IM1 2RF and any views on the proposal should be submitted to the Petitions Officer of the said Department, no later than noon on Tuesday 14 July 2020.
