The George Herdman Library has reopened |

The George Herdman Library in Port Erin reopened to the public on Tuesday 25 August with its normal opening hours.
The library had remained closed post-COVID to undertake planned maintenance and update works including the fitting of LED lighting, replacement windows, redecoration and upgrades to its IT infrastructure.
Library users are requested to politely respect social distancing of other library users and staff as not all of us are yet comfortable with the "new normal".
Please use the hand sanitisers provided.
For those users which have not yet returned outstanding books from before lockdown, please do so by the end of September. Late fees will not be charged for any books returned by then. Any books outstanding from 1st October onward will have late fees applied at the daily rate from that day forward.
