Therefore:-
· The Commissioners’ Office Public counter will be closed with
immediate effect. Housing rent payments can be made via phone or direct debit only. The office is still
operational and can be contacted by phone on 832298 or via email at
info@porterin.gov.im.
· The George Herdman Library will be closed with immediate
effect. Any late returns due to this closure will not incur fines, so please
keep hold of your loans until we reopen.
· Routine and non-urgent Public Sector Housing repairs are suspended
with immediate effect. Only repairs assessed to be an emergency will be undertaken
in line with our strict Covid working arrangements.
· Household waste collections
will continue as normal but please ensure that your wheelie bin handles are
cleaned prior to and after collection.
· Local bring banks will be closed with immediate effect.
· If you have the space,
any household recyclable items should be stored at your property. If you do not
have the space, you may put these items into your wheelie bin during this
circuit breaker period.

be closed with immediate effect.
· Public toilets will
be closed with immediate effect.
