Should you wish to represent your local community and speak up about issues which are important to them, then you may wish to consider standing for election as a Commissioner.
The local authority general election for the Board of Commissioners is for seven members to serve for a term of four years. Members of local authorities can make a real difference to the environment and quality of life in their local areas.
