Statutory Notice: RCO 440 BREAKWATER ROAD (PORT ERIN) TEMPORARY CLOSURE The Department of Infrastructure gives notice that under section 3 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1985 it will introduce the following temporary road traffic restriction(s) during the period specified. 1 Road closed Breakwater Road, Port Erin is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on that section of road shown in red on the Map in the Schedule and a person or vehicle must not enter or remain on that section of road. 2 Suspension of one-way The one-way restriction on the northern (lower) section of Breakwater Road is suspended. 3 Prohibition of parking Parking is prohibited on the northern, seaward, side of Breakwater Road between the Lifeboat Station and the breakwater. 4 Period
The period is from 6.00am on 2 December 2022 to 6.00pm on 28 November 2023. 4 Reason This closure has been requested by Watling Streetworks on behalf of Delgatie Ltd for the purpose of redevelopment works. For queries relating to these works please telephone 851681 5 Exemptions This Notice shall not apply to – (a) emergency service vehicles and personnel; and (b) any vehicles or persons authorised by –
(i) the Department of Infrastructure; or
(ii) the applicant responsible for the work.
