Petition submitted for the lease of Rowany Golf Course

Port Erin Commissioners has submitted a petition seeking the approval of the Department of Infrastructure, under section 25 of the Local Government Act 1985, for the lease of Rowany Golf Course for three terms of 7 years.

Godfrey Egee elected to serve as Chair for the Municipal Year 2023-24

At the Annual General Meeting of Port Erin Commissioners held on 9th May 2023, Mr Godfrey Egee was elected to serve as Chair for the Municipal Year 2023–2024.

Port Erin Commissioners announce rate of 361p for 2023-24

Port Erin Commissioners has announced that its local authority rate for the forthcoming financial year will be set at 361p, an increase of 9% from the current rate of 331p. This increase equates to 67p per week for a typical 3-bedroom property within Port Erin.

Expressions of Interest - Property Maintenance Services - January 2023

Port Erin Commissioners invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors who are MACCs Registered & Government Approved (where relevant) and are interested in being considered for the provision of planned, reactive and void property maintenance services across a range of trades. Port Erin Commissioners own and manage 214 public sector housing properties, as well as several commercial properties in Port Erin.
