Notice is given of nominated candidates in respect of the Village District of Port Erin Election of Seven Commissioners, scheduled to take place on Thursday 22^nd July 2021.

What matters to you in Port Erin? 

Is it the facilities within the village, the need for more activities for young people, improving services for older people, attracting visitors, making best use of the best beach on the Island or working to build an environment in which local businesses can thrive? 

NOTICE OF ELECTION

The Notice of Election for the 2021 Local Authorities General Election will be issued in the Isle of Man Examiner published on 15 June 2021. Local Authorities are required to display a notice in respect of their district, the notice for Port Erin is available HERE.

The next Local Authority General Election is now proposed to be held on Thursday, 22nd July 2021.

New Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) coming to Breagle Glen

Port Erin Commissioners is pleased to announce that work is due to commence on a new multi-use games area (MUGA) at Breagle Glen next week.

During the latest Covid Lockdown period, the Board of Port Erin Commissioners was pleased to receive a letter and suggestion from 7 year old Leo Kerr to improve the local shared spaces within Port Erin.

Petition for lease of Field 411412, Ballafesson Road, Port Erin

Port Erin Commissioners has submitted a petition seeking the approval of the Department of Infrastructure, under section 25 of the Local Government Act 1985, to lease field 411412 at Ballafesson Road, Port Erin for two terms of 7 years and one term of 6 years & 11 months.

Bin Collection Change

Change to bin collection Week starting 03/05/2021. Due to the bank holiday Monday, Monday's collection will take place on Tuesday. All other collections remain the same.
