Following the announcement last week that
the Planning Application publication list will no longer appear in the local
press, Port Erin residents will continue to be informed of any planning
applications within the Village District of Port Erin via a number of other
methods.
A link to the latest planning notices on the
Government website will be published each week via Facebook and Twitter. You
can follow these at PortErinCommissioners and @porterintweets, respectively.
This link will list Island wide planning applications for
that week.
Planning notices will also be displayed on
the notice board outside the Commissioners' Office on Bridson Street. Those
same planning notice are also required to be displayed in clearly visible
position(s) on the proposed application site.
In addition to this, Port Erin Commissioners
will continue to write to properties adjacent to any proposed application site
to inform them of the Planning Application. For speed, if you would prefer to
receive notifications of this nature via email, you can email your name and
address to info@porterin.gov.im
and this will be implemented in the coming weeks.
All planning applications for within the
Village District of Port Erin are available to view at Port Erin Commissioners'
Office during opening hours.
If you are unable to make it to the office,
Port Erin Commissioners' Website also has a detailed Planning Applications
section, listing all applications over the past 3 months, along with a link to
the supporting online documentation, any views of the Board and any
Planning Committee decision. You can view this detailed listing, HERE.
