How we work:
There are seven commissioners who are elected by the voters of Port Erin. The purpose of the commissioners is to set policy and make decisions relevant to Port Erin. The staff employed are there to carry out the policy in the day to day running of the authority.
Residents should report village issues via the online web form rather than contacting a Commissioner directly. This can be found under the ‘Contact Us’ > 'Report an Issue' tab or by clicking HERE.
The Board of Commissioners meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm. There is a public section to the meeting of the board which the public can attend but are not permitted to speak.
