Notice of roadworks Rushen
From Thursday of this week (1st August) the DOI will have a team doing patching work on Church Road, Rushen (in the vicinity of Rushen School and Four Roads). At times the road will be reduced to single lane traffic, controlled by Stop/Go boards. Work is envisaged to go on into the following week. Please consider alternative routes if possible.

Port Erin Commissioners has announced that works to refurbish the play area at Athol Park will commence in August and is scheduled for completion within 5 weeks. The play area will be out of service whilst the works are undertaken.
Statement regarding the Port Erin (Boundary Extension) Order 2019
At its meeting on Tuesday 16 July, the Board of Port Erin Commissioners discussed the letter received at 13:15 on 12 July from the Department of Infrastructure’s Chief Executive Mr Nick Black.
The Department of Infrastructure is to relay the footway and install new drop crossings to the driveways on Ballakneale Close. Works are due to commence tomorrow (Tuesday 16 July 2019) and will run for approximately 3 weeks. Workforce will normally be on site between 8.30am and 4pm daily (excluding weekends).
Fairy House Removed for Maintenance Work
Visit Isle of Man, an executive agency within the Department for Enterprise, wishes to notify the public that the Fairy House at the top of Bradda Glen has been removed for maintenance work following vandalism.
