Port Erin Commissioners is pleased to announce that the works to create the new viewing platform on Bradda Head Footpath are due to commence today (20 June 2022).
CCJ Group Limited has been appointed to construct the new viewing platform at the Bradda Head Footpath. The project is being coordinated by Port Erin Commissioners and The Rotary Club of Rushen and Western Mann with assistance from the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture.
The works have an estimated duration of 15 weeks and will involve traffic management, excavation, paving, kerbing, landscaping & balustrading as well as a small compound space within the Bradda Head car park.
There will also be various plant movements on the road and the path leading to the working area will be closed; however, CCJ will ensure that the impact to all businesses, residents and visitors is kept to a minimum.
Members of the public are advised to observe all signage and closures in the area for the duration of these works.
